2013 NFL Draft: December 27 bowl games open thread

The 2012-2013 bowl season is picking up steam and we've got three matchups today. The most interesting from a geographical perspective is the Military Bowl, featuring San Jose State.

The 2012-2013 college football bowl season has been slowly building steam, and starting today, we get at least three bowl games per day through New Years Day (minus this Sunday, for obvious reasons). Some games will be clunkers, some will be awesome and some will just be solid enough to get you through the day. However the games turn out, I wanted to get an open thread up

Today's matchups feature some talented players, but more importantly for Bay Area fans, a team connection! The No. 24 San Jose State Spartans face off against Bowling Green at noon PT in the Military Bowl in Washington, DC. I will not be attending, but I'll be tuned in for what should be a fun game.

The other two games on the day include Cincinnati vs. Duke in the Belk Bowl, and UCLA vs. Baylor in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl. When you get a minute, swing by SB Nation's rundown of "Watch Notes" for today's games.
