Michael Crabtree becomes first 49ers WR over 1,000 yards since Terrell Owens in 2003

After an ugly start to the first half, the San Francisco 49ers have gotten on the board courtesy of a 49-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree. Kaepernick connected with Crabtree on a 31-yard pass the play before turning this drive into a whole lot of Kap-Crab.

The touchdown was critical for the 49ers playoff picture possibilities, but there is some history to consider as well. The 49-yard touchdown moved Michael Crabtree over 1,000 receiving yards. He is the first 49ers player to surpass 1,000 receiving yards since Terrell Owens did so in 2003. Crabtree now sits at 1,049 yards and has career highs in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. Crabtree has four catches for 116 yards on the game.

The 49ers lead 7-6 and are driving deep into Cardinals territory. The 49ers clinch the NFC West with a win. They would clinch a first round bye with a win and a Packers loss.
