On Sunday, I laughed a lot more than I got upset. When Colin Kaepernick pitched back to Ted Ginn Jr. and nobody was even remotely close to getting it, I sent out a Tweet with a bunch of "LOLs," and if you asked the people around me in person, they'd confirm that I was, in fact, laughing.
For some reason, I was instantly able to shunt away the disappointment of that loss. I wrote that game off very early on, and I think it's because I've come to expect such things from the 49ers. I am VERY confident in this team going forward into the playoffs (they will, of course, make it), but I knew they were going to lose that game.
Let's hope the lulz are to a minimum this week, because the Miami Dolphins are exactly the kind of team we do dumb things against. Let's hope they're more Buffalo Bills and less Minnesota Vikings.
