The 49ers return home to face the Miami Dolphins, in a game that splits up four road games. The 49ers will travel to face the Patriots and Seahawks the next two weeks. While the Dolphins are no push-over, this is a must-win game for the 49ers. San Francisco has the edge of Seattle in the NFC West, and Green Bay and Chicago in the battle for a first round bye, but with a tough couple games approaching, a win on Sunday would buy some breathing room.
The 49ers face a Dolphins squad that has been inconsistent, although they are showing signs of progress. They will be without left tackle Jake Long, which creates a significant opportunity for the Smith Brothers. Aldon Smith continues his pursuit of Michael Strahan's single-season sack record. Aldon has 17.5 sacks and needs five more to tie Strahan.
In case you missed it the last couple days, I answered some 49ers-Dolphins questions over at The Phinsider, and Kevin Nogle provided some details on the Dolphins offense and defense.
As you prepare for the game, here is a rundown of pertinent TV, radio and odds information. You can double-check your region at the506.com.

49ers vs. Dolphins Odds
The 49ers enter Sunday's game as ten point favorites. I don't think a lot of gamblers will jump on an NFL favorite with a double digit spread given how unpredictable NFL games can be. If the 49ers can develop the pass rush sufficiently, and the offense can gain some consistency, this is a cover-able spread.
