NFL Mock Draft 2012: Second Round Options In The SB Nation Blogger Mock?

In case you had forgotten about it, the SB Nation NFL bloggers are in the midst of a live mock draft that will cover the first two rounds. You can read through the first round results and after the jump I have posted the second round players taken thus far. I did not list who took which players as several of the draft picks have not yet been posted at Mocking The Draft.

In the first round I selected Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill to fill the 49ers potential long-term need for a wide receiver. The 49ers are in a position where they can draft a fairly raw prospect to develop further. There are some intriguing wide receiver options later in the draft, but I really like Hill's upside.

As we head into the second round, offensive guard remains a need. Amini Silatolu is off the board, so if you are looking at guard, the recent favorite of Niners Nation will not be available. Had Kevin Zeitler been available in the first round I might have gone with him over Hill. Instead, I'd have the 49ers considering some later options. That is, of course, assuming you are not thinking of someone in the secondary with the pick.

Any thoughts on the second round pick in this mock draft?

These guys were ALREADY selected in the mock draft. The second round is on-going and not all these picks have been announced so I didn't want to give away who went to what teams. But they are not available to be picked.
