49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is chatting with the media and this came up after the media noticed Cam Johnson wasn't at practice today. It doesn't sound like a serious issue, but you never can tell in Harbaugh-speak. Practices are wrapping up next week for about six weeks, so it will be something to keep in mind when the team returns for training camp in late July.
We'll have a full transcript from Coach Harbaugh tonight or tomorrow morning, but in the meantime, NaVorro Bowman was also not at practice today. No word on his injury status. In terms of injuries, Carlos Rogers, Joe Looney, Curtis Holcomb and Ted Ginn did not practice today. Looney is hoping to get cleared for football activities later this month, but it seems unlikely that it will happen in time for next week's minicamp. That means he's another guy to keep an eye out for when training camp gets going next month.
