Good morning. I don't know what I did but I've angered my computer and perhaps all the computer gods. Something happened and I've deleted almost an hours worth of work so you're getting nothing but links. I would usually do it over, but I've got to get up early tomorrow as we're going camping in the Sierra Nevada with my family. Haven't gone camping with them in almost 20 years. Can't wait.
The big story is that Dashon Goldson has broken his silence. All signs pointed to him eventually signing the franchise tender. The deadline for teams and players who've been slapped with the franchise tag to work out a multi-year deal is Monday and he still has some optimism to get that done. He's said all the right things today and we all hope he'll be a productive member of the team as safety isn't one of our deeper positions. It's good to see he's on board.
The other story of note is that the 49ers (and I guess the Saints) have been given the ESPY award for game of the year. I wonder how excited they are in New Orleans?
