It's been a few weeks since I last posted about Niners Nation Fantasy Football, so I wanted to follow up on that. I asked who was interested in playing in a league this year and had 92 folks specifically state that they were interested. There were some people who commented but I wasn't quite sure if they were officially interested.
After the jump, I've posted the names of everybody that appeared to express interest in our leagues. I've posted them in alphabetical order by user name. If your user name starts with a number, those are at the top. If you are interested, but not listed, let me know in the comments. For front page writers, we'll have a front page league again, but if you want to join one of the other user leagues, say so in the comments. Also, if you're going to be in Andrew Davidson's 16-man league but want to also join an NN league, let me know in the comments.
We're finalizing some things with Yahoo!, at which point I'll start opening up the leagues. I've taken note of who is interested in being a commissioner. If we don't have enough Commish's, I'll likely inquire with some of the experienced folks. I'll be in touch with the prospective commissioner's via email, so we can coordinate when you create your league. Right now, we have enough people for seven 12-team leagues, with some folks left over. We'll make sure enough people are in so anybody interested in playing fantasy football with other NN users will have a league, even if it means cutting down to a 10-team league, or bumping a league up to 14 teams.
The plan is to have consistency across the leagues in terms of rules. A basic league, which will allow for some comparison across leagues where possible. The idea is to have a weekly fantasy football FanPost where everybody can discuss their NN leagues. With similar rules, it makes for easy cross-over discussion.
