The 49ers franchise tender dance with Dashon Goldson continues as Thursday's veteran report date gets closer and closer.
Just spoke with #49ers S Dashon Goldson. Will he report to camp with other vets Thursday? Goldson: "I can't talk about that." Stay tuned.

The 49ers are not the only team that found themselves wondering whether a player would not report to camp. After months of discussion, Ed Reed did in fact report to Ravens camp today. Over in Pittsburgh, the Steelers are waiting for Mike Wallace to sign his restricted free agent tender.
Veterans report tomorrow morning and will be handling physicals and other administrative work. That leaves the biggest news being whether or not Goldson reports with the rest of the team. The upside to a holdout is a chance to see more of guys like Trenton Robinson and C.J. Spillman. The downside is pretty obvious. Goldson has had some consistency issues, but he brought a lot of force and ball-hawking to the 49ers last season.
