I'm really sorry to have to do this to you all, but it's going to be an abbreviated version of the Nuggets this morning. There's still all the links you've come to know and love but not a lot of jibber jabber (which a few of you won't mind anyway). While you all were snoring and drooling on your pillows, I'm getting soaked on the bike ride home from work and cooking a dinner that I nearly burn. So.....
Not much action to report anyway. NaVorro Bowman missed practice but it doesn't appear to be anything major. Chris Culliver will miss this weekend's game with a knee injury that isn't serious. There's a lot of talk about Anthony Davis and his matchup with Von Miller in this weekend's battle against the Broncos. Davis can be expected to push him around in the run game, but he's had trouble with speed rushers in the pass. We'll see what happens. To the links....
Matt Maiocco tells us why we should expect big things from our 2010 first round picks Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati. Most players make a big jump in their second year and these two were denied the offseason preparation last season so this year will be their first normal training camp. | Why 49ers should expect big years from Davis, Iupati. (Maiocco)
Chris Culliver injured his knee against the Texans and will miss Sunday's game. I guess it was missed in all the other injury news from last weekend. This means we'll get to see more of the other DBs and get a good idea about who's making the roster. | Culliver won't play at Denver because of knee injury; can still play on massive Twitter account. (Inman)
