We've reached day three of week three, which means it is time for the biggest preseason football game to every hit anything, ever! The Washington Redskins play host to the Indianapolis Colts, which means we get our first matchup of Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III. It is the biggest game ever because Dan Snyder tells us so. In fact, he's selling the t-shirt on the right here for the low, low price of $35 to commemorate this monstrous occasion.
Oh wait, it's just a preseason game. It won't stop people from watching and buying the t-shirts, and I'll be one to watch the game out here in DC. But I won't be buying the t-shirts. As crushing a blow as that might seem to the Dan Snyder media empire, I think he'll find a way to get by.
Aside from that game, it's a fun little slate of games, with Houston versus New Orleans at 5:00pm PT on CBS being a potential offensive highlight show. I suppose both teams could go with vanilla showings, but I'll keep my fingers crossed!
More importantly for 49ers fans, we get another chance to see if the Rams can show some improvement. They travel to face the Fallas Cowboys, also at 5:00 p.m. PT. Depending on how busy this thread gets, I might throw out a second game thread later tonight.
