49ers Vs. Broncos: TV Schedule, Radio Info & More

The 49ers and Broncos get going later this morning, and I thought I'd get some basic information posted for those that might not be completely aware that today's game is a nationally televised broadcast! The 49ers and Broncos will kick off at 1:00 p.m. PT from Sports Authority Field in Denver. The game will be broadcast on FOX with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the booth, and Pam Oliver on the sideline. If you have Preseason Live, the game will be blacked out online since it's a nationally televised game.

If you don't have access to a television, the 49ers are also on the radio. KGO 810 and 107.7 The Bone broadcast all the 49ers preseason games. Additionally, the 49ers have an extensive radio network throughout northern California, Oregon and northern Nevada.

Now that I'm a DC resident, I've decided it's time to find a bar to watch the 49ers each week. They'll be on national TV a lot, but I need a backup plan for games that are not nationally televised. I think I might have my spot at Crystal City Sports Pub. It's three blocks from my apartment and they have WiFi, so I can watch the games and still get game threads up and tweet throughout. I'm going to check it today as a sort of test run. In previous years I mostly watched games from home and didn't drink much. Moving this over to a bar could be interesting, to say the least.

The next question will be whether to roll with my Alex Smith rookie year jersey, my recent Patrick Willis addition, or my Joe Montana throw-back. We'll see, but either way it's obviously I'll need to sport something.
