Fooch's Update: Whoops, it's 3pm PT not ET. I'm an idiot.
49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh will be back to chat with the press today. He'll be followed by Alex Smith and Ray McDonald. I don't recall the last time I heard Ray McDonald chat with the press, so it could be an interesting chance to hear more about the defensive line's work. I'm wondering if he will get any questions about the work of Demarcus Dobbs and Will Tukuafu.
Alex Smith will be chatting a day after he struggled with some interceptions in red zone drills. Somebody made a good comment about defense potentially being ahead of the offense early in camp. Given how last year's preseason opener went against the Saints, I'm curious to see what the 49ers are able to do when they face the Vikings next week (yes, a week from today!).
