Well that was a butt-whuppin! The 49ers had little trouble this evening, dominating the Chargers 35-3 in their preseason finale. Colin Kaepernick and Josh Johnson were the stars of the evening, as they combined to complete 21 of 32 passes for 283 yards and four touchdowns. Oh and Josh Johnson also rushed five times for 50 yards.
It was "only" a preseason game, but that doesn't make it any less fun. The team has some things to work on heading into their opener against the Green Bay Packers, but for now, the team is in solid enough shape and ready to defend their NFC West crown. It certainly is nice to have real football just about back in our lives!
