Fooch's Update: Maiocco tweeted Ikaika Alama-Francis has been cut. Unless Kenny Rowe makes the roster, the 49ers are going with three OLBs again.
Fooch's Update: TE Garrett Celek has made the team according to one of Adam Caplan's sources. Apparently he did enough to impress over Konrad Reuland.
Fooch's Update: S Darcel McBath has made the roster according to Kyle Bonagura. He would join C.J. Spillman and Trenton Robinson as the primary backup safeties.
Fooch's Update: Before publishing, Matt Maiocco tweeted that Cam Johnson was also released. The rookie appeared to be hidden by the team at times this preseason, potentially in hopes of getting him on the practice squad.
Kyle Bonagura of CBS Rapid Reports is reporting on Twitter that the 49ers have cut offensive lineman Mike Person. Matt Barrows subsequently tweeted that the 49ers would head into the upcoming season with eight offensive linemen:

Earlier reports came out the 49ers had released Al Netter, and this subsequent report would indicate the 49ers have cut Derek Hall and Kenny Wiggins. These are not surprising moves, but it clears up a few more things.
This makes things all the more interesting for the 49ers depth on the line. This would seem to all but guarantee that Alex Boone is the starting right guard AND the swing tackle. If either Joe Staley or Anthony Davis goes down, Boone would likely move over to their spot and Leonard Davis would move in at right guard.
Mike Person is eligible for the practice squad, so if he clears waivers the 49ers would likely try to sign him to the practice squad. If the 49ers had an offensive tackle injury that was more than just part of a single game, that would provide the team with the chance to pull Person off the practice squad.
