Due to some site maintenance, the Nuggets were unable to go up last night, so this is sort of a quick version. The big news of the day is Michael Crabtree was a full participant in practice and he thinks he can play on Friday, although he's going to leave it up to the coaches. I'm working on a little bit more related to that, so I'll save that for a little bit later this morning.
In the meantime, now that the preseason is upon us, national coverage of the 49ers is picking up. In case you missed them previously, Grantland had a pair of articles about the 49ers over the last week. One was by former Football Outsider Bill Barnwell and discussed why the 49ers should be expected to regress. The other was by Smart Football's Chris Brown and presented the case for an improved offense in 2012.
I mention these because I know there is other national content about the 49ers that we are missing in the Nuggets.
