SB Nation may be seeing same changes with SB Nation United, but we still have some old stand-by's, including the weekly Prospector's Guide. And with the increased use of pictures, you get a bit fat photo of Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez. You know you love it!

The 49ers travel to the Meadowlands to face the New York Jets this weekend. The teams are both 2-1, although I think we can qualify the Jets season as a bit more up and down through three weeks. The Jets pounded Buffalo to open the season, look abysmal in Pittsburgh and then squeaked out a Week 3 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Given the early nature of the season, Tim Tebow has not quite had an opportunity to wrest the starting QB job away from Sanchez. I think Sanchez retains the job all season, but it will be interesting to see how the QB situation develops.

More importantly, the Jets have to overcome the loss of Darrelle Revis. The star cornerback tore up his knee and will miss the remainder of the season. The physical capabilities are significant, but the mental edge he brought to that defense will be tough to replicate. This will be as big a storyline as anything on Sunday.

On to the background for this game...

The San Francisco 49ers travel to New York to square off against the Jets, capping of a 10-day road trip by the team. This marks San Francisco's first road game against the Jets since 2004 and their first game at MetLife Stadium. The 49ers hold the edge in the all-time series 9-2, including a 5-1 record on the road vs. the Jets.

Last week, the 49ers dropped to 2-1 after a 13-24 loss to the Minnesota Vi- kings. QB Alex Smith connected with TE Vernon Davis on a 1-yd touchdown pass, and LB NaVorro Bowman tied his career high with 17 tackles.
