49ers vs. Jets: Final injury reports feature most of the usual suspects

The 49ers and Jets released their final injury reports, and there are not a whole lot of shockers. Vernon Davis was a late addition but was a full participant in practice. There is no reason to think he won't play, barring him waking up on the wrong side of the bed or something.

Matt Maiocco made a good point about Ted Ginn and Brandon Jacobs. Although they were able to get some practice in this week, they were still listed as limited all week. Maiocco pointed out how it seems likely the two of them will need a full week of practice before they get off the inactive list. We'll get a bit of an answer on that this weekend when the 49ers release their inactive list.

Isaac Sopoaga is also listed as questionable, but considering he sat out practice all week, I would be surprised if he was active. Ricky Jean Francois got time in his place for one game last season and looked generally solid. I enjoy seeing him get some opportunities, although obviously it would be nice to see the 49ers 100% healthy. Nonetheless, he brings some solid athleticism to the nose tackle role. He is a big guy, but much like Vic Fangio said yesterday, it seems like there is a bit more maneuverability for him, where as Sopoaga is more of a big stout guy.
