We're back for Week 4! The 49ers have arrived in New Jersey and will face the New York Jets in a 10am PT kickoff. Although it is an early kickoff, the 49ers spent the week in Youngstown, Ohio following their loss to the Vikings. They did this last year between Cincinnati and Philadelphia, and while they did win the Philly game, they also started off rather slow. Who knows whether the stop-over makes a difference or not with the time zone issue. It hopefully at least provided a chance for the team to grow a bit more as a unit.
This will mark the first 49ers game I'll be attending since last year's Saints game. This is also my first east coast 49ers game. I'll be up in the press box so I'll miss out on some of the fun, but it should still be a good time. I'm bringing my camera, and assuming the batteries are working, I'll try and get some decent pictures while I'm at Met Life Stadium.
This also marks our first game-day in SB Nation United. We will continue to have game threads like normal, but we'll providing some additional tools to help you keep track of the game. We'll have a story stream for the day that will feature all the pertinent news, whether it be injury updates, GIFs and video or just about any other news or analysis. I'll continue to link the game threads at the bottom of each previous thread, but I'll link the story stream itself on the front page so people can follow the updates all day long.
The plan will still be for an inactive post at approximately 8:30am PT and the first of probably four 49ers-Jets game thread up at approximately 9:45 PT. Following the game, we'll also have game threads for the afternoon and Sunday Night Football. And of course plenty of post-game coverage as well.

49ers Vs. Jets Odds
The 49ers are 4 1/2 point favorites heading into today's game. The odds opened at a field goal and slowly moved over. Odds under a touchdown often indicate some level of confusion about the matchup. If the 49ers had won last week I'm fairly certain they would be touchdown favorites right now. Instead, some of the betting public is likely skittish about them. They think the 49ers are better, but they're not quite sure what to make of them following the Vikings loss.
