The 49ers released their inactives for their Week 4 contest against the New York Jets, and we finally get to see Ted Ginn Jr. active this season. He injured his ankle in the preseason and had been inactive through the first three weeks. There is no word on who will handle kick and punt returns between Ginn and Williams.
The most prominent inactive this week is Isaac Sopoaga, who is dealing with an assortment of leg injuries. His deactivation means we will get to see the first start of the season for Ricky Jean-Francois. RJF got some starting time at both nose tackle and defensive end last year, so he will be prepared for what should be a tough matchup with Nick Mangold.
