Don't know if any of you heard...but FOOTBALL is officially back. The Cowboys beat the Giants on the road in a mild to medium upset. Love to see the champ go down in the first game of the year. Don't know if that means I'm a hater or I like to root for the underdog. Actually...I hate the Cowboys, so it really didn't matter to me who won.
Don't know if any of you heard...but Coach Harbaugh had a baby boy. Well, if we want to get technical, Mrs. Harbaugh had the baby. Oddly enough, the baby was born on the 4th day of the 9th months as Cam Inman points out in a link below. That's how we write the dates in foreign lands. We also use the metric system. Coincidentally, the baby was born 9 months to the day after we clinched the division title. I once read that babies (specifically the 2nd - last) are frequently born 9 months after a parent's birthday or anniversary. Or 9 months after a blizzard. Hmmm...
Don't know if any of you heard...starting this week we'll have a new feature on Niners Nation called This Week in Niners Nation. I'm going to call it TWiNN (I grew up watching TWiB...before the internet and cable TV it was the most in-depth news you could get). I hope I don't get sued. It will be a recapping or reposting of the bigger stories of the week and the most commented stories and fanposts. I'll also get to put my two cents in...like a young Andy Rooney. It's tentatively scheduled to go up at 6pm Friday evenings.
As for these links....there is an absolute ton of them, again. They're not as organized as I'd like them to be but there's quantity to be had. A bargain... so I'll get to them with no explanations. You'll note that both the Packers' CBs and DTs are recovering from injuries. A weakness is found.
