Golden Nuggets: Win ... I don't care how

New, comments

Friday, January 11th, 2012 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

It's Friday, which means I've reached the point of my mid-week confidence starting to wane. Rather, I still think the San Francisco 49ers can take down the Green Bay Packers, I have that "oh God we're about to be in a playoff game" feeling coming on and I don't like it. The playoffs are terrifying, and they turn me into an absolute wreck.

On top of that, the entire reason I love football goes out the window. I love how unpredictable it can be, I love how exciting a shootout can be, but when it comes to the 49ers in the playoffs, I don't want that. I go against fandom of the sport and hope and pray for an easy 3-0 49ers victory. Nothing else matters. Just winning.
