I took a few minutes to take a look at the 49ers-Falcons matchup this Sunday, and provide a rundown of some key matchups and issues. I know plenty will disagree, but give it a look and let me know if you think there are specifics that are a bit more important about this matchup.
As I said in the video, I really do think a lot will come down to how the Falcons are able to run the ball. That is not the end-all, be-all, particularly given how big a wild card Colin Kaepernick could prove to be.
I do think the 49ers are the better team in this game and "should" win it. Of course, the better team doesn't always win on a given Sunday, so I am steeling myself for any sort of insanity on Sunday. The Falcons are a good football team. You don't win 13 games by dumb luck. I still think the 49ers are better, but we all know how crazy these games can get.
