The 49ers and Ravens both completed a full practice on Thursday, with each releasing an injury report. The 49ers got in a practice on Wednesday, while the Ravens did not. It should surprise nobody that nothing has changed from the injury report the 49ers released yesterday. Justin Smith was in his arm brace at practice, while Aldon Smith rocked the black no-contact jersey. Both will play in the Super Bowl, but the team continues to take it easy with some of their banged up players.
For the most part, both teams are in fairly good health. The Ravens report had starting Will linebacker Dannell Ellerbe listed as a DNP, but he is expected to be fine next week. He played every snap last week, and this would appear to be nothing more than a precaution. Although any edge to the 49ers is welcome, I am always down for a straight-up matchup with no excuses for either team.
