Super Bowl 2013: Jim Harbaugh expects Ahmad Brooks to play through shoulder injury

We take a look at Jim Harbaugh's comments about Ahmad Brooks' shoulder injury, and what it means for Super Bowl 47.

The 49ers and Ravens will release their injury reports later in the day on Friday, but Jim Harbaugh did manage to confirm that he expects Ahmad Brooks to play in two Sundays. Brooks has been dealing with a shoulder injury, and missed a few snaps early in the 49ers NFC championship game victory. Clark Haggans played in his place, and is acting as the primary backup at outside linebacker.

For the most part though, the 49ers and Ravens are both looking healthy heading into Super Bowl XLVII. Although both teams have dealt with some bigger injuries (Lardarius Webb, Kendall Hunter, Mario Manningham, etc), at this point, the 53-man rosters are just about good to go. While I'll take any advantage the 49ers can get, I do like that there are no excuses at this point.

I put together a quick video discussing a few of the issues facing both teams. Give it a view when you get a minute.
