The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals released their Thursday practice participation reports, and there are no significant changes. For the 49ers, Justin Smith was upgraded from DNP to limited participation. On the Cardinals side, several players were upgraded from limited participation to full participation. For the most part, we shouldn't expect a whole lot of surprises when the final injury report comes out tomorrow, and the inactives are posted mid-day on Sunday.
Colin Kaepernick remains listed as a full participant with a foot issue. Greg Roman brushed aside a question about Kaepernick's injury, deferring the answer to either Jim Harbaugh or Jeff Ferguson (VP of Football Operations). Ferguson is generally never made available to the media, and Harbaugh will not tell us what's up. Although, I would love to see one of the beat writers ask Harbaugh about Kaepernick tomorrow. I'm sure we'd get the usual response, but it'd be interesting to entertaining nonetheless.
