The San Francisco 49ers face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday, live from Wembley Stadium in London. This marks the 49ers second regular season trip to London, having defeated the Denver Broncos 24-16 in 2010. That was only three years ago, but much has changed since then. The two most notable aspects of that game were that Mike Singletary was head coach and Troy Smith was the starting quarterback. Let that soak in!

This time around, the 49ers are in much better shape, with much higher aspirations. They do not want to get ahead of themselves against a lesser opponent, so one big key will be maintaining their focus from the get-go. We've heard plenty about that

The 49ers have several advantages, but the biggest has to be against the run. The Jaguars are dead last in the league in rush defense, and their defensive line is 30th in adjusted line yards. The 49ers don't need to get fancy in this game. Stick to the run, maintain their strong defense. It's not rocket science, and we've seen the 49ers start to recognize this over the course of their four-game winning streak. It's that simple.

Anquan Boldin

Had 10 receptions for 115 yds. vs. Jax. (11/27/05) as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.

Carlos Rogers

Patrick Willis

Recorded a game-high 11 tackles and 0.5 sacks vs. Jax. (11/29/09).
