Golden Nuggets: Good thing 49ers aren't as arrogant as I am

Friday, October 25, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Ed Szczepanski-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning ladies and gents. I've got your Golden Nuggets today and they're ... a little late. Sorry about that -- was doing other things and completely forgot they were my night. No elaborate excuse here! So anyway, we're currently in a a bye week. A bye week in London is always great, so I hope the guys are out having fun.

Oh sure there's technically a game to be played on Sunday, but if there's ever a place for arrogance in this league, it's when your team is playing the Jacksonville Jaguars. I honestly did not expect them to be this bad, for what it's worth. But seeing every aspect of that team utterly fail has been pretty fascinating, especially with Gus Bradley at the helm. I mean, the guy wasn't expected to turn things around right away but they look bad.

So of course, it's just the kind of game the 49ers would lose. Good thing they're not as arrogant as I am. Onto your links.
