Golden Nuggets: Bring on the Jaguars in London!

Sunday, October 27th, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Ed Szczepanski-USA TODAY Sports

Today, the San Francisco 49ers continue their quest to catch up to the Seattle Seahawks when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. I am totally fine with the 49ers playing in London when it's not wedged between really bad road games and things of that nature. I would not be totally fine with them wasting one of their home games to play there, though.

Fortunately, that doesn't really matter with the Jaguars. They don't get much from their empty home crowds, so London makes sense. I don't particularly care for all the stuff in the lead-up to the game, none of that really interests me. I also am not liking the idea that this could be leading to an NFL franchise in London. I think that does some pretty horrible things to players that are already tired and all, but if it helps getting things moving along to get something like NFL Europe re-established, that would be neat.

Onto the links. Go Niners!
