The San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars released their inactives, and the "big" name this week is Jon Baldwin. Although Baldwin has not made much of an impact, he has been on the injury report with an unknown illness the last two weeks. He was active last week, but is inactive for Week 8. There is no official word if it's because of the illness or if he is a relatively healthy scratch.
LaMichael James and Nnamdi Asomugha are both healthy scratches once again. Jason LaCanfora is reporting the 49ers have been shopping Baldwin and Nnamdi. I'm not really sure what the 49ers can expect to get for either of them. Nnamdi has a little bit of value for a team short on cornerbacks, but what value does Jon Baldwin have at this point? I suppose it could be a throw-in, but I'm not really sure what team would take a throw-in of Baldwin. But, that's rumors for you.
49ers inactives: QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson, WR Quinton Patton, RB LaMichael James, CB Nnamdi Asomugha, LB Jermaine Cunningham, G Joe Looney and WR Jon Baldwin.
Jaguars inactives: QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Stephen Burton CB Jamell Fleming, OG Jacques McClendon, OT DeMarcus Love, WR Stephen Williams, DE Abry Jones
