49ers-Jaguars field conditions look less than ideal

The San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars kick off in less than an hour, and the field condition will be something to track all day. The heavy weather hasn't hit yet, but the field appears to be a bit messy already. Heavier rain is expected later in the second half, but I have to think we'll see things get mucked up early on.

Mindi Bach said that Tom Rathman mentioned it was a "long spike game" for the running backs. Frank Gore is the kind of back who can excel in these kind of conditions, but the messy conditions could slow everybody down. We'll see how many players are slipping and sliding today.
