The San Francisco 49ers are back in the Bay Area for their bye week, having gotten back to town Monday afternoon. Coach Harbaugh will address the media at noon PT, and the team will have "opportunity practices" Tuesday and Wednesday.
Coach Harbaugh these "opportunity practices" after Sunday's game, indicating they are for anybody who wants the opportunity to practice, but he did emphasize players who did not get as much playing time in the game. Given that the 49ers will be bringing at least three guys back to the roster next week, the smart move is to be at practice one or both days. I suspect the team will get much of the rest of the week and weekend off after that, returning to practice to start next week. The coaches will likely spend a good chunk of this week preparing for the Carolina Panthers.
In the meantime, we have some time to kill over the next few days, so I thought I'd drop in the occasional random awesome bit of content. Our content is normally great and all, but I don't know how much of it matches up with this video. It features one of Patrick Willis' signature plays when he was at Ole Miss. The ol' tackle and roll. It's a pretty sweet play.
