We're a little bit closer to the 49ers-Texans Sunday Night Football game, with two games in the afternoon. The AM games are wrapping up and look all kinds of interesting. The Saints have arguably the most impressive win of the day, heading into Chicago and taking care of business. They improve to 5-0 and are looking more and more for real as each week passes.
The Rams held on to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, improving to 2-3. They won by 14, but it was not exactly an impressive performance. They did get some good work from running back Zac Stacy, so we'll see if they can build on that in their running game.
Chiefs-Titans and Seahawks-Colts were our two primary games to watch, and they're wrapping up. The Chiefs look like they'll hold off the Titans and claim their fifth straight win to open the season. The Seahawks are in a dogfight with the Colts.
The afternoon features Broncos-Cowboys and Panthers-Cardinals. Carson Palmer has already been intercepted in the desert, so there's that. We'll be back with inactives about 90 minutes before Sunday Night Football, followed by our game thread.
