The San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers released their game-day inactive lists, and we get a chance to welcome back some old friends. WR Mario Manningham, OLB Aldon Smith and RB LaMichael James are all ACTIVE for the Week 10 contest. Tank Carradine and Eric Wright are inactive, and will wait at least another week to make their 49ers debuts.
The LMJ decision could mean he is taking over some of the team's return duties. He has been working on punts after practice, and with Kyle Williams struggling to do much in the return game, it would not be surprising to see James handling some of the duties.
Aldon Smith makes his return from the NFI list after missing five games while in rehab. There have been reports he will only see 20-25 percent of defensive snaps, but we'll have to wait and see.
Mario Manningham makes his first appearance since tearing his ACL in Week 16 last season. Given the 49ers passing game questions after Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis, Manningham is a welcome sight.
49ers inactives: QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson, WR Quinton Patton, WR Kassim Osgood, CB Eric Wright, DT Quinton Dial, G Joe Looney, DT Tank Carradine.
Panthers inactives: WR Tavarres King, WR Marvin McNutt, CB Josh Norman, CB James Dockery, RG Chris Scott, TE Brandon Williams, DE Wes Horton
