Week 11 NFL picks against the spread

The San Francisco 49ers face yet another tough matchup this Sunday, as they travel to the Superdome to face the high flying New Orleans Saints. The Saints are coming off a laugher of a win over the Dallas Cowboys, absolutely blowing them out.

The Cowboys defense is kind of a joke, so the 49ers should be able to put up more of a fight. That being said, the Saints offense is serious business. This will be arguably the biggest test of the regular season. Add in the current struggles of the offense, and it's a tough one to pick for the 49ers. I do think the 49ers can beat the Saints, but they will have their work cut out for them.

As I look at it, the 49ers will need to focus on the ground game and keep the Saints off the ground. It'd be nice to see Colin Kaepernick put together a dynamic performance, but it comes back to Frank Gore, Kendall Hunter, Anthony Dixon and maybe even LaMichael James, along with the 49ers offensive line, controlling this thing. The over/under on this game is 47 1/2. As the score of this game climbs, my concern grows. The 49ers could put up a lot of points, but their best shot is keeping it relatively low-scoring. It will take a dominant effort from the defense, but it is not out of the realm of the possible.
