Golden Nuggets: Well, here come the Saints ...

Sunday, November 17th, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. I don't know how you all feel about today's game between our San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints but I've got a kind of "oh well, whatever happens, happens .. LET'S DO THIS!" thing going right now. If the 49ers win, then awesome. If they can't manage it, then hey, it's the Saints. They're an extremely good football team.

Drew Brees is an extremely good football player, too. My mancrush on Brees is well documented these days. An interesting tidbit, heading over the Canal Street Chronicles yields multiple articles referencing revenge. Revenge for the Saints in general and revenge for Sean Payton. I'll be honest, I sort of ... forgot about that whole storyline. It's pretty interesting to see a fanbase focusing on revenge and all of that while the other doesn't really care.
