Week 11 AM game thread

We take a look at the Week 11 morning schedule, and open a thread for discussion.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The 49ers-Saints game is still a few hours away, but there are some interesting matchups to watch in the AM slate. The most pertinent to the 49ers is Arizona vs. Jacksonville. The Cardinals have climbed to 5-4, and have a chance to build on that against the Jaguars. While the Jaguars did get their first win last week, they are still a bad team. A win won't tell us everything we need to know about Arizona, but it will give us a little something to work with.

The bunched up NFC North sees the Bears host the Ravens and the Lions travel to face the Steelers. Both NFC North teams are favored and need wins to keep things tight in the division.

The Eagles host Washington in a pretty huge NFC Least matchup. The Eagles are tied with the Cowboys atop the division with a 5-5 record, while Washington sits a game and a half back at 3-6 and tied with the Giants. The Giants host the Packers this afternoon, and if both Washington and New York can win, the division race becomes that much tighter. If Washington and/or the Giants lose today, their chances in the division are just about finished.

We'll be back with 49ers inactives at around 12 p.m., and then the first quarter game thread just after 1 p.m.
