Sunday Night Football open thread: Chefs Watch edition

We take a look at the Week 12 SNF matchup between the Broncos and Chiefs, and open a thread for discussion.

Week 11 Sunday action wraps up with one of the better Sunday Night Football matchups we're going to get this year. The 8-1 Denver Broncos host the 9-0 Kansas City Chiefs in a battle of the top two teams in the AFC. The Chiefs are considered by some to be a bit of a paper champion, and the odds reflect that. The Chiefs are a 7 1/2 point underdog, in spite of being undefeated.

It is worth noting that even though the Chiefs have beaten some awful teams, the Broncos schedule hasn't been that much more difficult. The Broncos have put together more impressive offensive efforts, while the Chiefs have been better on defense. These two imposing units will square off tonight in what should be a fun matchup.

I don't even think the Chiefs have to win this game. If they can keep it close, and relatively low scoring, they can make up for it in a couple weeks when they host the Broncos.

And for those wondering, Chefs Watch is more or less wrapped up for the regular season. The Chiefs are likely going to make the playoffs. Their draft positioning will now be impacted by how the Chiefs perform when the playoffs eventually start.
