The San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints released their inactive reports, and we got some very encouraging news. 49ers tight end Vernon Davis and free safety Eric Reid are both active. They both suffered a concussion last week against the Carolina Panthers, but this tells us they remain symptom free.
The concussion was Davis' second in the last 11 months, and Reid's second this season. They both were limited in practice this week, going through non-contact work. They engaged in a contact drill on Friday, and this tells us everything is fine.
As expected, Ray McDonald and Garrett Celek are both inactive. Tony Jerod-Eddie and Demarcus Dobbs will split the majority of the snaps in McDonald's place, with Dobbs listed as the starter. Derek Carrier is active, and will get his share of work in place of Celek. Tank Carradine remains inactive.

Saints inactive: S Kenny Vaccaro, DT Tyrunn Walker, CB Rod Sweeting, TE Ben Watson, RB Khiry Robinson, OT Terron Armstead, QB Ryan Griffin
