Thursday Night Football open thread: Saints vs. Falcons

Week 12 gets underway tonight as the Atlanta Falcons host the New Orleans Saints. Heading into the season, this looked like a potential marquee matchup. The Saints were expected to bounce back, and the Falcons were coming off a trip to the NFC Championship Game. Instead, while the Saints are rolling, the Falcons are playing some awful football. Atlanta has lost four straight, and is coming off a 41-28 loss to the equally awful Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

At this point, a Saints wins does not really make a big difference. The 49ers chances in the NFC West are pretty slim, so Saints wins or losses are not a big deal. Of course, I know plenty of people have added the Saints to their "list" after last week's game. Feel free to root away for the Falcons. I'm pretty sure it won't help them. Divisional road game can be tough, but I have a hunch the Saints are going to roll one up on them.
