The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report for Monday Night Football, settling the status of left guard Mike Iupati and cornerback Tarell Brown. The 49ers announced that both players will join wide receiver Quinton Patton as OUT for Monday Night Football. This is not unexpected, but given the team normally goes with the questionable label, it's nice to get further clarification.
In their respective absences, Adam Snyder is likely to get the start at left guard, while Tramaine Brock will make the start at cornerback. Eric Wright will move up into the nickel corner role. C.J. Spillman would seem likely to handle any dime work. The 49ers probably won't need to go to dime too much on Monday, so I wouldn't expect Spillman to see a lot of time.
Tight end Garrett Celek was doubtful last week, but this week he is listed as questionable. The team has Derek Carrier available if Celek can't play. Ray McDonald is also listed as questionable, and seems unlikely to play. Vic Fangio said he was much improved from last week, but he said he was still iffy. Tony Jerod-Eddie would get the start if McDonald can't go, and Demarcus Dobbs would see more playing time in rotation.
