The San Francisco 49ers face off against Washington on Monday Night Football, which means they are in Vernon Davis's old stomping grounds. NaVorro Bowman is from across the river in Maryland, but Davis is from right in the heart of D.C.
Davis attended Dunbar High School before attending the University of Maryland. While at Dunbar, Davis turned himself into a four-star recruit. He also played basketball at Dunbar, but football was his ticket moving forward.
