What? Why is some random dude posting the nuggets? Sorry, and allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ryan Geach (Reasonable Discourse) and I have been given the honor of providing you with all things 49ers links! A few things about myself, I have spent all 22 years of my life in Sacramento and grew up idolizing 49ers like Steve Young, Jerry Rice, and even Terrell Owens. Some of my fondest memories include my dad driving me out to Candlestick to enjoy 49er games. It means a lot more when you know that he grew up in LA and is a blue bleeding Rams fan that would rather be anywhere else on a Sunday afternoon.
Two of the three QBs on the 49ers roster last season started games yesterday and neither one was Colin Kaepernick. Scott Tolzien started out nicely for the Packers with a nifty spin move into the end zone but was ultimately benched in favor of Matt Flynn in the tie. Also, Alex Smith dueled Philip Rivers in a Kansas City shootout that ultimately went in Rivers favor. One of the teams that really scares me right now is the Cardinals, they blew out the Colts yesterday 40-11 and have looked really good over the past month and for now hold the 6th seed at least until we play tonight.
We are still unsure whether Michael Crabtree will play tonight, he probably won't, but I am still holding out hope that he can suit up. It's probably unfair to him to pin our hopes on a full recovery, but Matt Barrows pointed out on Saturday that our second leading WR on the roster has 38 receiving yards so...
I'm really ready for another win, Washington has been between average and poor against the run this season, and the game is shaping up to be below freezing in DC. This is the perfect opportunity to establish the 49ers brand of football onto Washington and run them out of their own stadium. I'm normally not one for game predictions, but for this occasion I'll go ahead and predict a big 49ers win 34-17. Here's to Monday night and a chance to finally end this nasty two game skid and stop complaining about Ahmad Brooks to random people over Twitter. To the links!

Washington is nowhere near the caliber of team in Seattle, but their rushing attack in both the O-line play and Mobile QB could be a good warm-up for Seattle in two weeks. Washington rushing attack could get 49ers primed for Seahawks (Inman)
