The San Francisco 49ers are in Washington for Monday Night Football on the back-end of their last two-game road trip. The 49ers head into the game at 6-4, having lost two straight games. Washington is 3-7, having lost two straight as well, and struggling to find any semblance of consistency.
The 49ers are 4 1/2 point favorites. They are the better team, but at times they have not played like they should be better than a team like Washington. The 49ers defense is playing well, and the ground game can get going, but the passing game continues to give us all headaches. Will they finally get it together tonight? I certainly hope so.
This will be your first quarter game thread, and we'll be back with a new thread each quarter. We'll wrap things up with a recap thread.
