The San Francisco 49ers released their first practice participation report of Week 13, and there is some notable news. Wide receiver Quinton Patton is back at practice. He was listed as limited, but this is his first practice session of any kind since fracturing his foot against the Rams in Week 4. There is no word yet on when Patton will return to game action, but even just a limited practice session is a big step forward.

Michael Crabtree does not appear on the injury report, which would seem to indicate he was a full participant. There are no guarantees he will be active this Sunday, but for now, his health does not seem to be an issue. If I had to guess at this point, I would see Crabtree is active and gets 15-20 snaps.

The active or not is easier to guess than what the team has planned for him when he is actually on the field. When Mario Manningham made his season debut in Week 11, he got 42 snaps (79 percent of offensive snaps). Of course, he was injured five months before Crabtree, but it is still at least worth noting.
