The St. Louis Rams released their first practice participation report of Week 13, and the most notable name is Zac Stacy. The Rams running back suffered a concussion this past Sunday late in the first half against the Bears. He was listed as a DNP for Wednesday's practice, although he did a little work in the walkthrough portion of practice.
Stacy has been doing some solid work for the Rams since taking over the starting role in Week 5, the week after the Rams faced the 49ers. Daryl Richardson had previously held the role, but wasn't doing much of anything. Stacy provided a spark, but if he can't play Benny Cunningham will get the start. Cunningham came into the league this year as an undrafted rookie, and could provide a solid one-two punch with Stacy once the latter is healthy.
Aside from Stacy, CB Trumaine Johnson and G Chris Williams both suffered concussions last week. There is no word yet on their status for Sunday, but it sounds like the Friday injury report will be give us some insight. My guess is we'll just have to wait for final clearance on Saturday.
