Adam Snyder to get second straight start in place of Mike Iupati

The 49ers released their Thursday participation report, and confirmed Adam Snyder will start again in place of Mike Iupati.

The San Francisco 49ers had their coordinator media day on Thanksgiving, and offensive coordinator Greg Roman confirmed Adam Snyder will get his second consecutive start at left guard. Mike Iupati reportedly sprained his MCL, and remains out indefinitely. A sprained MCL usually involves a few weeks absence, so there is a decent chance Snyder ends up starting in Week 14 against the Seahawks as well. We'll wait and see what next week brings.

The 49ers released their full practice participation report for Thanksgiving day. Ray McDonald sat out practice again, although Matt Barrows thinks he's close to returning. Last week, Fangio said McDonald was improving, but remained iffy. We don't have an update yet.

The DNP list was much shorter today, with NaVorro Bowman, Mario Manningham and Justin Smith all improving to limited participation.
