Golden Nuggets: Wide receiver revolution?

Friday, November 29th, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

Good morning ladies and gents. Is it weird that the only thing I've been thinking about this week is how terrible it would be if the San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams wound up playing to a tie again? There's nothing quite as awful as a tie game, unless you're watching it happen to two teams you might dislike. Then again, a tie was important for the 49ers last season (a win would have been better, but earning a loss there would have changed the playoffs), so who knows?

At any rate, the 49ers might actually have Michael Crabtree back this week. I remain a little skeptical of this, but it is great to see Crabtree, Anquan Boldin, Mario Manningham and Quinton Patton all practicing at once. I still have high hopes for Patton, and now he won't be kept off the field for the likes of Kyle Wiliams.

Anyway, we're going to jump right into your links for the day.
