The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report on Friday, and we continue to get good news about Michael Crabtree's return. Crabtree did not appear on the injury report, and head coach Jim Harbaugh said he should play this Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.

Crabtree has practiced in full all three days this week, which would seem to be the final indicator that he is ready to go. Crabtree met with the media on Friday to discuss his return. Here are some of the more notable comments:

The rest of the 49ers injury report features a few new faces this week. Seven players are listed as questionable, with Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks among the new additions. Both are expected to play.

Tarell Brown told the media he's getting better every day, and it seems likely he will sit out at least one more week.

Matt Maiocco tweeted that he said he was having trouble taking deep breaths. Since he only just got back to running, I would be surprised to see him active on Sunday.
