The San Francisco 49ers are halfway through their 2013 home schedule, which also means they are that much closer to the end of Candlestick Park. As part of their final season in Candlestick, the team is celebrating some of the greatest moments in stadium history.
This Sunday, the 49ers will celebrate the No. 4 moment in Candlestick Park history. The No. 4 play is "The Catch II", which everyone knows as Terrell Owens huge catch to beat the Green Bay Packers in the 1999 wildcard matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
As part of the celebration, TO will actually serve as the honorary game captain. TO has mentioned in the past that he wants to play again, but his connection with the 49ers has been fairly non-existent since he departed in a fairly acrimonious situation. It is good to see TO get back to the stadium in its final season. His NFL career would appear to be over at this point, but he seems to be settling down to some extent at this point.
Here is some video from the final drive in that game. It's always a fun drive to watch.
